Four Year Specialist Training Scheme:


Training scheme organised by Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Royal College of Physicians in Ireland


Training scheme centrally funded by the Health Service Executive (Publicly funded health service in Ireland)


Applicant must have completed basic specialist training in a relevant clinical speciality


Rotation between service / industrial / healthcare sites


Yearly end of year assessments by college, and end of training assessment, electronic log-book of same, assigned trainer in each training site


Exit examination is Membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (MFOM), Royal College of Physicians in Ireland


Getting on the Irish Specialist Register in Occupational  Medicine, requires successful completion of training
